Milan Fashion Week

Which one's bigger? Milan or New York Fashion Week? My answer would be Milan. Those who follow my twitter would have probably noticed how I spend hours stalking every updates from the runway. It's been amazing to be able to receive real-time updates by Vogue, NY Times, Harper's Bazaar, you name it via twitter. So these are some of the looks that take my breath away.



Bottega Venetta. A classic, red carpet worthy look, definitely a class act.



Moschino. Who would think spectacles can enrich your black tie look?



Dolce & Gabanna.



Frankie Morello with heels bun. Well the yellow skirt is gorgeous.



Emilio Pucci.





Prada. Miuccia claims whether "innocence or freshness ... Not a girl dressing like a lady, but a lady getting more innocent."



Versace.



Raf Simons for Jil Sander.



Fendi. Karl once said, "My sisters were sent away because my mother thought they were boring. I was not boring.” True that.



Roberto Cavalli.



At last, Gucci.

Frida Giannini dscribed her fall collection for Gucci as ‘hippie chic.’ But even when the house is aiming for hippie chic, it can’t help but be the most opulent, gilded, accessorized hippie you’ll ever see. Quoted by The New York Times.

This season is about bold vibrant colors, rich fabric, decadent fur, lots of sequins, everything that yells opulence.

Can you get to my thought?

Another evening, another little black dress. This one is from Adela Rose. What I like about this dress is that it is very simple yet gives a playful edge through the extravagant frill details on the shoulders.



It's always perfect to wear nude heels with your LBD.

Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Autumn Winter 2011/2012

Burberry streamed its Prorsum Womenswear Autumn Winter 2011 collection to its widest audience yet, live from a new venue in London’s Royal Park of Kensington Garden. Online viewers worldwide can share personal comments on the collection in real time through their Facebook and Twitter accounts. The show was streamed globally in Burberry flagship stores from Boston to Beijing, creating ‘buy from the runway’ in-store virtual trunk show events across 4 continent. Guests at the digitally charged Burberry 'Retail Theatre' events experience the show through giant video walls with enhanced acoustics and state of the art visual technology, creating a heightened show experience. Burberry has also partnered with key media sites to host the global live stream. These include CNN, Sky News, Vogue, GQ, The Times (UK), The New York Times and Gulf News.



On top of that, London’s iconic Piccadilly Circus, streamed the show live onto the famous 32 metre digital screen viewed by an estimated 1.2 million people a week - a first for any brand.



Viewers around the world are invited to buy the runway collection immediately after the show for one week, bringing the collection to consumers globally in 7 weeks.



It was titled, Shrimpton.



Sculptured heritage outerwear, military tunic coats, and sculptured boot cut trousers are the key items this season.

























Full Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Autumn Winter 2011 collection will be available in retail stores and online from
August 2011.

A mixture of Lanvin, McQueen and Valentino I would say.





These two dresses describes mystery and fantasy, glamour and rock and romance.













I love how he mixed laces and casual wear like this. I bet Zara will copy it in a short while.













These are what I meant by very McQueen.



A beautiful slit is priceless.



After all the collection is very sublime. I want everything from the runway in my closet.
