I'm a sucker for blue. By this time today, I should be over the Jil Sander floral ball skirt and tee look, but look at this again. Peter Som is using the similar element to create the new look for Spring. But then it's translated in head-to-toe blue. Okay so this post is where I ramble about all things floral but mainly in the shade of blue. I was browsing through runway images of Day 1 New York Fashion Week from Vogue and gather the best look from Peter Som and Jason Wu.

Jason collaborates with New York graffiti artist Kaws that produced the floating petal print used throughout the collection.

And here's Lindsey Wixson backstage wearing a ruffled top with a delicate mix of sequins, beads and pearls.

Peter was raised in San Francisco by architect parents of Han Chinese ancestry and Jason is a Manhattan-based Taiwanese American fashion designer. The two Asian blood designers are currently leading the most currated labels in America, promoting effortless elegance. Now who else is proud to be Asian.
