Divine. These dresses, although their silhouette remind me of Gucci Fall 2011, still prevail. I love Alber's take better. These dresses were indeed shown at the end of the show, after a series of the monochromatic and neutral ensembles.

Classic Lanvin, forever and always flattering, sexy, sleek, modern and subtle. To me, these are perhaps the perfect combination of power clothes (day-to-night workwear) for a female exec who’s not afraid of being sexy, but has a big ol’ brain. But Alber once said, “I’m not into power-people, I like strong people. You know, power, you can buy in the bank and strength is maybe when people love you.” Well, let's just use the term 'strong' then.

I secretly wished he would show more colors, more versions of these airy, sheer draped dresses.

I think this is a great evolution from the heavy-accessorised look we’re used to from Lanvin. It’s still super-luxurious but it’s a little more grown up, a little more serious.

I was just trying to understand why the damp, textured hair look is really growing on me here. The Lanvin show that day was apparently really hot. It was so hot that Anna Wintour's bodyguard was spotted fanning himself. I can totally imagine how people were sweating like mad and everyone's hairstyle resembled the models'.
