Lara Stone returns to her hometown in the Netherlands for 'T' style magazine, as photographed by Angelo Pennetta. Lara heads to some of the places she knows from her childhood, and even poses alongside her parents for the shoot.

Lara also speaks on the country's coffee shops that stock marijuana legally:
‘You just buy it and smoke it, and that’s a good idea—why not? I used to smoke so much pot when I was living here. That’s why I can’t remember so much! But really, it’s just a plant.’

It's really interesting to see how this photoset looks like pictures taken during a vacation, very relaxed and natural, like we can see the natural beauty, the real energy of Lara through her relaxed casual clothing styled by Sara Moonves. But when you break down the pieces, actually you can see those individual pieces are very familiar. See the Givenchy sweater and shoes, as well as the Noir sunglasses from Miu Miu. Okay, so what's different is that we are so used to seeing those statement pieces in the usual 'glossy' editorials, not something very laid-back and not so glamorous like this.

At first I thought that this editorial looks very boring and ironically not-stylish, as in imagine the stylist that has to create looks for Betty in Ugly Betty, with several designer statement pieces, but she makes sure they don't stand-out in a good way. But then, when I look at it again, there I can appreciate the aesthetic of the Moonves' styling.

This original shoot gives us a look at the model's life before she was discovered at the age of 14 while in Paris. She grew up in the Dutch town of Mierlo.
