Initially launched in 2003 as homage to the label's workshop, Métiers D'Art this year came up with a one of a kind mix of Bombay-Paris theme in costumes and ambience that was undoubtedly remarkable and visually appealing. Clothes are Karl's interpretation of the local Indian Sari, and all sorts of Sari-like draping. Highly impressive.

Lindsey and Daphne in the runway just make everything else look more complete.

You see there are a number of Chanel Boy bags being showcased here in the collection. I really want one for myself.

The handsome Baptiste Giabiconi.

The Paris-Bombay collection will hit Chanel boutiques starting May 2012. Images from various sources.
