"He smiled understandingly-much more than understandingly. It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life. It faced--or seemed to face--the whole external world for an instant, and then concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favor. It understood you just as far as you wanted to be understood, believed in you as you would like to believe in yourself."
I'm a huge fan of the book and knowing that Carey Mulligan will play Daisy in the movie remake is such a wonderful thing. Daisy Buchanan is a very relatable character to me. The good news is that today we can finally see the first official shots from the movie. I just can't wait to watch Leonardo DiCaprio,Tobey Maguire and Gemma Ward live up the Gatsby dream again. As for now, let's just focus on the fact that Tiffany & Co. supplied the jewelry showcased in the upcoming movie. Brilliant, isn't it?
