Clutches: Vert musings

I still haven't decided on which clutch to buy this year but currently, I'm drawn to my all-time favorite design from Alexander McQueen, the De Manta Clutch. It has a more functional size compared to the famous minaudière with the skull on top.



This clutch after all has a signature curved stitched accent along the back and understated McQueen logo patch in the front. They made it in all forms of materials, leather and fabric and exotics too. Remember the famous Scuba python De-Manta from Spring 2010?

Apparently Net-A-Porter stock three versions of this clutch, and my personal favorite is the one in olive leather with silver studs. Prices start at US$525.



Next is Pandora Perspex box clutch from Charlotte Olympia with an enameled spider clasp. You can add in one of the bright satin liners for an instant color-pop. With three two-tone shades to choose from, red/orange, purple/pink and blue/green, there's always the perfect hue for every ensemble. It's selling at $615 here.
