“I am obsessed with texture,” says Hill, photographed in the entranceway of her Chelsea home. “Sometimes I think I want a whitewashed apartment, but in the end I can’t manage to stay away from color. My wallpaper is from Eskayel from Studio Four in New York, and the tie-dye adds an awesome layer to the wall.”

When asked what secrets her closet might reveal, Hill laughs. “I’m a bit all over the place when it comes to my fashion choices,” she says. “But there are a few obvious consistencies: I can’t get enough Equipment blouses, I am obsessed with harnesses, and I love vintage jewelry. I am not sure what that reveals about my personality, but I’d be glad to hear a professional option.”

Taylor in the kitchen, one word: adorable. On her interview she explains, “The yellow cab was my cookie jar when I was a child,” It's her most treasured kitchen item, parked underneath her open-air shelving system. “My mother always had eclectic taste when it came to decorating, and she gave us the jar as our wedding present. I am currently using it as a planter.”

“When we first saw these baby chicks on sale at the Armory antique show, we were horrified,” says Hill. “But when we inquired further, it turns out that they died while being shipped to a farm, and they were sent to a taxidermy school instead of simply being discarded.”

“I think this picture is very Arthur Elgort because it is about the marriage between real life and fantasy,” Taylor muses about the photographer who shot the treasured image hanging over her bed. “I recently had the privilege of working with him on a shoot for Moda Operandi, and I had to pinch myself because I felt like I was in a dream. This has always been one of my favorite photographs. I try to jump into pools fully clothed as often as possible, shoes and all.”
