Kristen Stewart at Cannes

Kristen doesn't usually wear something so daring and lustrous like this, but at the Cosmopolis premier she definitely stole the limelight.

Photobucket

This plunging red dress is by Reem Acra, also features a sexy lacy back. Her makeup is a lot less smokey than usual. Also loving her red lipstick.

And she changed to a red biker jacket and a pair of shorts for the after party.

Photobucket

She absolutely killed it. Of course the other two looks before these are also worth drooling over. Both from Balenciaga, she managed to pull off the printed pants trends and the full-length dress so well. You can get her Balenciaga Manhattan shoes here for USD725.

Still can't get over this perfect combination of a thigh high side slit , forest green fern embroidery on ivory, a skinny black belt and the black piping.

According to ShoeRazzi, these mirrored leather sandals are from Balenciaga Fall 2008. Now tell me which look is your favorite?

Cheryl Cole at Cannes 2012

Photobucket

They called it the camouflage dress, the human tampon dress, whatever it is, I think Cheryl rocked this look. This particular number from Stéphane Rolland Spring 2012 Couture looks as if it soaked up the color from the red carpet, creating some sort of an optical illusion, to confuse people about her height.

Photobucket

Photobucket

She is so breathtakingly beautiful. It's like she is floating on the rain-soaked red carpet. One word, spectacular.

Lady Dior in Japan: By Garance Doré

Have you ever thought of carrying a plain bag for one unforgettable trip overseas to capture a memory for you to hold? Everywhere you go, you mark your bag using one thing, be it a stamp, a painting, or some little pen drawing. This particular Dior campaign brings you into Garance's travel adventure in Japan, complete with her visit to the Lady Dior exhibition where everyone was amazed with her bag. This is so unbelievably creative, although I think the bag looked a lot better before she took it to the last stop, Utamaro, the illustrator.

Chanel Cruise 2013: Modern Marie Antoinette

Photobucket

While I'm not entirely sold on Chanel's Cruise 2013 collection just yet, I'm very much in love with these candid shots by Benoit Peverelli for Vogue UK. On top of that, the show was held at Marie Antoinette's former home of Versailles. View the complete collection here.

AFF: Mugler after party in Singapore

Photobucket

After a series of stylish events I had to miss this past three months due to my final term schedule, I had a chance to attend the Belvedere Vodka Official Audi Fashion Festival 2012 After Party with MUGLER featuring The Misshapes and Michaelangelo L’Acqua. I took my gorgeous girlfriend, Any, and she also helped me with my makeup. As for the party, the atmosphere was awesome! Here's from their photo booth.

Photobucket

The Misshapes started spinning around midnight and all I can do was to stare at Leigh Lazark. She's so pretty I could die. Not really a techno-beat fan here, but the night was definitely enjoyable.

Photobucket

Nicola Formichetti turned up and yes, I had a chance to take a photo with him. Below is my fellow SGFB friends, Xiao Wen of Fash-Eccentric and Laila of Rock The Trend.

My rings are from Mont Blanc, part of their 4810 collection. Shaped like the Mont Blanc star emblem, it's even nicer when worn together with the smaller, full diamond version. Definitely my favorite stackable rings in rose gold. Here's a better shot of the three ring combo from my Twitter.

Photobucket

I was wearing my old ASOS neon yellow dress, and I don't think they still have it in stock. However, they have some amazing new arrivals in yellow here and here.

Corto Moltedo: Singapore trunk show

Photobucket

Corto Moltedo had their trunk show in Singapore two weeks ago at a presidential suite at Marina Bay Sands. I had a chance to preview their Spring collection and meet the designer, the very talented, Gabrielecorto.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Out of the many designs of the iconic Susan C star, I found that these embroidered minaudieres are the most extravagant. They are just so delicate. I can't keep my eyes off them. They are so much prettier in real life. I think it's the brilliant mix of crystals and the modern pattern, intricately crafted that is very distinctive. I can totally imagine Anna Dello Russo carrying them.

Photobucket

Of course there were also some day clutches, like the Arto A4 Cassette Snake Colormix with Studs, which you can get online from their website for EUR 750.00 before 21% VAT rebate.

Shoes of the day: Daniele Michetti

I discovered Daniele not long ago. Turns out he was the cordswainer to lead the triumphant catwalk marches for Yves Saint Laurent and Sergio Rossi. A cunning combination of techniques and cuts, and an irreverent handling of materials – calf with python, patent with nappa, suede with stingray as exemplified in the Spring collection.

Photobucket

Michetti’s designs are compelling and distinctive, as they are sophisticated and ultra-feminine. Shoes above are “Adalgisa” in black and gold python leather, S$1,390 and “Alanis” in satin and leopard print leather, S$1,260.

Daniele Michetti is available from Club 21, 01-02 Four Seasons Hotel, tel: +65 6304 1385.

And last but not least, the all-time gorgeous Cate Blanchett, in an ostrich-feathered McQueen gown. That's about it, and don't forget to read this article on BoF, Is the Met Ball Becoming Fashion’s Biggest PR Platform? I think the way they write it, explains it all in a very well said manner.
