Jason Wu Resort 2013 portrayed everything Wu is known for through just 35 beautiful looks. The elegance and glamour Wu displays with each season was not missing in the latest collection. His ensembles maintained a soft, feminine feel throughout the collection - a perfect wardrobe for summer's sunny days. However, bold dresses and skirt+top combinations also made an appearance in the show.
For the first twenty-or-so looks, flirty florals, playful nautical stripes, and Peter-Pan collars fabricated the mood for the collection. The latter half of Wu's Resort collection held striking black and white cocktail pieces. Delicate lace tops and perfectly-structured peplum skirts were stronger additions to the otherwise soft collection.
Upon viewing the last look, you realize that Jason Wu has created the perfect collection for, really, anyone. Whether you are in need of a striped bikini for days at the beach or a gorgeous maxi dress for the next summer party, you can turn to Wu's Resort 2013 collection.

About Meera Navlakha
I met her at the recent Audi Fashion Festival this year. She came tp to me and said hi. She's very young, only fourteen this year. Her blog began to be one of my regular reads, with those immaculate, very well-crafted runway reviews being my favorite content. Read my featured interview on her blog here.

One of the many spring trends that I love so much is the mirrored print. Be it floral or geometric or abstract prints. I had a week off last week and I spent the time shopping and chilling with my sister.
Wearing a Mango tropical print blouson as a dress, gifted Dolce & Gabbana Matt Silk sunglasses, Bottega Veneta knot bracelet and Givenchy booties.
Update: The Matt Silk sunglasses just arrived in the Dolce & Gabbana boutique in Singapore (Ion Orchard) last week. Only the black and red models are currently available in stock. Words are that they will be receiving more in the upcoming weeks. The retail price is 330 SGD.

Here's the always stunning Olivia at the 34th Moscow International Film Festival this week. Currently the face of Carrera y Carrera, she showed up in her signature high-gloss style at the presentation of their Música Collection.
She was wearing a pair of high waisted wool Katie Ermilio shorts (apparently they are reversible), paired with one of her all-time favorite vintage blazers, a fringed clutch and Tibi Amber shoes, which are currently on sale.
Those Carrera y Carrera gold jewelry are to die for, especially that dragon cuff. Read my other posts on Olivia Palermo's style here and here.

I say she looks absolutely stunning in this two piece dress and those strass Louboutins at the 'Snow White and the Huntsman' Australian Premiere. Amazing look, amazing actress. Totally love her makeup and hair do. And to counter the fact that E! Online stated that she looked less thrilled, here are the different faces that legitimately proved she looks beyond thrilled.
You all need to stop picking on Kristen! Who's on my side now?

Stella McCartney's Resort collection was presented in another Great Gatsby inspired party, see the images here. The looks draws inspiration from the 70's, look at those flare pants. I love the floral blazers paired with the athletic pants below.
I love seeing such a cheerful, relaxed and happy collection. Lace, fringe, floral & leopard print, and bright colors are in. But what about those mirrored metallic clutch and shoes?

Did you know that renowned luxury fashion retailer Reebonz debuted kwerkee, a website dedicated to all things aesthetically pleasing, a few months back?
I mean check it out, they’ve got pretty much things you don’t necessarily need, but you know you want them. One of the founding members, Zaidah Mohd, says “We saw a gap in the market – there was no de-facto site that sold design and lifestyle products that were fun and quirky.”
Now kwerkee is the reason to inject more fun to our lives. Products coming up in line will include comic superhero flash drives, graphic jewelry, art prints and vintage typewriters.
Anyway, it’s a free membership site, with at least two to four events daily, with all items sold at up to 70% off. They offer free delivery to Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Hong Kong. And in conjuction with Reebonz, existing referrals will be counted if your friends visit kwerkee. So what are you waiting for? Sign up now and discover the fun.
You can also find kwerkee on:

These two looks set the direction next Resort 2013. I think the sheer pants over printed shorts is so chic. It marks the return of the silk scarf print. I've seen some affordable pieces from ASOS here and here. Derek Lam 10 Crosby did it too and of course, the signature Emilio Pucci.
Several pattern clash look and the leopard leather combo. Though I don't really like some of the shapes, I'm still in love with the wide legged tailored trousers.
Phoebe seems to be unable to do anything wrong. Look at the last three looks here. It's polka dot at its best.

It's been a bittersweet journey this past two years in this city. I juggle between studies and fashion blogging. It's been tough but mostly amazing. Now that I've finished my studies, I can't wait to score my dream job and perhaps continue to stay.
Anyway this post is one of the very few outfit posts I shoot in Orchard, the city's major shopping destination. Some of my friends say when it comes to me, if I'm not at school, I'm always here. The reason I don't do a lot of posts here is of course, the crowds. I have to deal with people staring and all, but here it is. I nailed it. And it's a little bit sentimental I would say, to finally have to say that I might not be here forgood. I've been planning a trip back to my hometown for a while and will take a break, focusing on the launch of my clothing line.
I'm wearing my new favorite shoes, Sergio Rossi Lady Jane in pink neon with orange neon cap toe, which are currently on sale on Farfetch. Anyway, my sister is here and she was the photographer today. We went for brunch at Wild Honey Scotts Square because it's the best place to have breakfast all day.
A few weeks back I had a Browgraphy session at Browhaus which include Color Tweak and Brow Shaping. Loving the color that matches my new burgundy hair. Notice the different?
Wearing a peplum top from H&M also the Miu Miu Noir sunglasses and Céline Trapeze bag. And those are Bottega Veneta woven leather knot bracelet and Mont Blanc “Pétales Entrelacés” cuff and ring in pink gold from the Princesse Grace collection. Crafted to resemble interlaced and interlocking rose petals, my favourite pick from the collection is the pink gold cuff emblazoned with diamonds.

Did an illustration featuring my favorite four looks from the collection. It's all about silken paisley prints patchworked with geometric prints. I think it's a lot more visually appealing than the previous Fall 2012 collection which to me was, horrific. Tisci's back!
