Trending: Sweatshirts

This photo of Rihanna has been circulating on the internet this past few days and it truly describes the ultimate 'street chic'. Totally loving how she pull off the 'IT' Homies Sweatshirt by Brian Litchenberg with the ultra-sexy Saint Laurent two tone leather pump (US$895). Check out more of her street style in her signature sporty-luxe, street-mix-high-fashion.

Speaking of parody designer tees, high-end designers seem to be no longer in charge of their class, the lines are becoming more blurred as mock designer t-shirts prevails over the genuine. It's basically a simple theory none other than a spin on the logo of the brand, a play on words we can silently, mutually chuckle over. Click here and here to understand better what I'm talking about.

The convergence of high fashion and street fashion has been furthered along by fashion’s close ally, the music industry. A world-famous pop star who has equal access to authentic Hermes opts for the inauthentic version because of its street credibility, something that we can only assume the original has less of.

I know some people who loathe the trend and will never wanna wear one. As far as I'm concerned sometimes it's never wrong to have a little fun. I know for sure at one point this whole thing got to stop.

I've been searching for this Rodarte "Radarte" sweatshirt the longest time. It's sold out everywhere online! I think part of the reason why sweatshirts are in this year is the recent fad that was all about parody logo designer sweatshirt and the Kenzo Tiger Fever.

It all comes down to the old idiom: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery," and just for fun, I've narrowed down every sweatshirts from any sport wear brand, parody designer lines and real designer version to six coolest pieces that I would wanna wear myself this year.
