Impromptu shoot

Last week I was with my sister directing Poise24 photo shoot and campaign, there were fresh flowers and obviously we had to take photos with it (of course), and here they are!

Harper's Bazaar: Are you the next big fashion designer?

After the success of the inaugural Harper’s BAZAAR Asia New Generation Fashion Designer Award last year, the search is back on again for the next big designer! If you’re passionate about creating your own designs and would like to have international presence, this is the regional competition for you. The winning designer will get his or her works published in the four editions of Harper’s BAZAAR (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand) and also be sponsored for a Master’s Degree in fashion at the prestigious Instituto Marangoni in Paris, London or Milan worth GBP26,700 (approx $56,430). The star designer will also have the opportunity to retail his or her collection on BAZAAR’s E-commerce platform.

The winner will be judged on his or her creativity, originality, commercial viability and technical ability to produce work that is on par with the standards of Harper’s BAZAAR. Participants are to include either hand-drawn sketches or web illustrations. Limited to one entry per person for the 2014 contest period.

MasterCard Singapore: Priceless Surprises

Last week I was in Singapore for a short holiday and I had a chance to experience MasterCard “Priceless Surprises” campaign and try their machine. The campaign is all about giving unexpected surprises to shoppers who used their MasterCard card during the Great Singapore Sale from 30 May to 27 July 2014.

Priceless Surprises is an evolution of the iconic long-running Priceless campaign. Priceless Surprises kicked- off in the US with musician Justin Timberlake during “Music’s Biggest Night®”– the 56th GRAMMY Awards®. As part of this campaign, people are inspired to give, and share their own Priceless Surprises.

There are 7,000 prizes and more lined up at the Priceless Surprises Machine, including MasterCard prepaid cards, attractive shopping vouchers, local attractions and show tickets, and even a chance to catch Justin Timberlake live in Sydney! The two photos below was when we were posing for the Justin Timberlake concert contest, which customers can choose to dance, sing or pose.





The Priceless Surprises Machine is located at Raffles City last week for two days, from 2pm to 4pm. It will also be set up at other locations during the Great Singapore Sale. Shoppers get one chance a day during the weekend events to win prizes and get surprises, just by presenting three MasterCard charge slips worth at least S$20 each at the Priceless Surprises Machine.
