After much long-awaited anticipation, Sephora online has arrived in Indonesia. Gone are the days when I have to call up a friend who's traveling overseas to get me my makeup supplies in Sephora abroad, and this shopping site is starting to become very tempting for all the girls in the country! They are now offering free shipping for a minimum purchase of Rp 200.000, and based on my experience, they ship.. very, very quickly. Alright now let's begin my review about shopping from the site!
Sephora Indonesia (www.sephora.co.id) lets you explore their full array of product offerings with highlighted products on their landing page. To browse easily, they put their stuff into categories: Makeup, skincare, nails, bath & body, event Men! Besides, they will show you their best seller products, as well as their new arrivals which you can choose to view the moment you open the site. The best thing about shopping online, is of course, to get online exclusives products and online shopping gifts! Right now they're having a promotion of FREE Benefit set when you spend Rp 500.000 on Benefit products. I'm guessing they're going to have different stuffs every month.
Moving on to the next step, is choosing your desired category, and at this time, I was deciding between getting skincare, makeup or getting bath and body products. I probably spend about 30-45 minutes clicking through everything since this is my first encounter with the site and I absolutely love it. The product range you'll find on the website is similar to what you may find in a Sephora retail store.
So I landed on the makeup section, which features brands that aren't available in Surabaya yet like Too Faced and Stila (which are always my Sephora favorite). I've been wanting to get a bronzer and a couple of liquid lipstick. Based on my research, Stila liquid lipsticks has been beauty bloggers' favorites and they have received amazing reviews. I initially wanted to get the color Patina but they aren't available yet, so I chose other two colors Dolce and Amore. Both are brown shades which are probably what I wear all the time (ever since I saw them on Kylie Jenner). The lipsticks are Rp 330.000 each, which I guess, is more or less USD24, the same price as the US price.
Okay, now it's time to choose the bronzers. I can't settle between Snow Bunny and Bronzed & Poreless both from Too Faced. Both has received tons of fantastic reviews online. After much consideration, I found that Snow Bunny might be better for my skin, because it creates a Luminous effect which I really like. Right now I have 3 products in my shopping cart which cost around Rp 1.000.000.
When I go to my shopping cart, I can see that I qualify for a free premium sample which I can choose from around thirty products. I also got a FREE shipping promo. Another good thing about Sephora online Indonesia, is that they have many payment options to choose from (bank transfer, paypal, credit cards, etc). After I placed my order, it's time to wait until the products arrive!
So my shipment arrived in about 3 days after I placed my order. They arrived covered in bubble wraps, so you don't have to worry when you order liquids. I'll assure you they'll arrive safely. Can't wait to try them on so I can start to write reviews on their site.
Thank you, Sephora.co.id. My shopping experience was fun and flawless! I'll definitely shop for more in the near future.

I always dream to own a pair of Louboutin strass. But who doesn't? For his Spring 2016 collection, the famous crystallised shoes are introduced in a unique application using 4 sizes of crystals in 11 different colours, Clair de Lune draws the eye with the force of the moon’s gravitational pull.
Showcased on a wide range of styles for both women and men, crystals adorn the collection in a prism of rich, sparking colours including bright ruby, rose and tangerine, while a cooler underbelly emits brilliant cerulean and silver tones.
Here are the prices in SGD and Rupiah for the key styles:
Lady peep Python Roccia Clair de Lune 2990
Boat Flat Clair de Lune 1990
Dorissima Clair de Lune 2100
Lady Peep Clair de Lune 2500

To celebrate the capsule collection, Christian Louboutin invited Katie Rodgers, the illustrator behind the site Paper Fashion to create a series of hand painted watercolour illustrations and gifs (check out the glittering entry here). Directly referencing the collection’s inspiration, the artwork depicts Clair de Lune styles floating like brilliant comets against a shimmering moonlit sky, while crystals gleam and dance across the shoes.

Olivia Palermo graces the March 2016 cover of Canada’s FASHION Magazine. Inside the editorial, I came across this beautiful ruffle top in salmon color, which is from Greta Constantine. I seriously think this photo should've made the cover instead. Anyway, I haven't got a copy of the magazine myself, but according to fashiongonerouge, in her interview, she talks about her new Chelsea28 clothing line, people who haven’t found their style and social media influence.
Talking about how she dresses herself, Olivia says, “I have no anxiety in the morning when I’m choosing an outfit to wear. Whether I was in this industry or not, it wouldn’t change. My focus is getting a pulled-together look. That’s all that matters. I dress for myself. Everyone should.”

Yesterday was my first time ever to appear on live radio show. I didn't really announce this beforehand because I'm so embarrassed if it turns out to be a disaster. But the good news is... it was completely okay. Not saying I was great but I had a great laugh and it was a fun experience.
I was scheduled to be a guest on "Good Morning Hard Rockers", which goes live at 6-10 am on weekdays, hosted by Indra Pramujito and Agustian Pratama. I listened to this show a lot while I was in high school on my way to school daily and I can't believe I appear on the exact same show a couple years later.

Amal Clooney is the closest thing to a demigod. I love, and maybe everyone else, love love love her everything from her charisma to her fashion sense to her being a successful lawyer. She is back on the red carpet and once again in Giambattista Valli couture with her husband George Clooney. I was a total fan of the other Valli dress she wore on her wedding bash, but this one is equally gorgeous.
Honestly, part of me thinks that this dress isn't really suitable for her, as it is too flirty and playful. I read a couple reviews online as well and found that some editors think this look is a little too "young" for her. Perhaps I will prefer a cleaner, more versatile look from Calvin Klein or Dior by Raf, but I die a little every single time I see dresses from Giambattista Valli couture 2014 collection.

This is such a weird title and shoe choice for a girl who puts up "I can't wear flats, I always feel like I'm walking uphill" on her Instagram bio. But I can't help to share my latest and one of a kind shoe choice: The Stella McCartney platform sneakers "Binx" (click here to see the python version which I settled on).
Anyway, here's the story behind it. I've been planning a trip with a bunch of girlfriends and we are going late February. We're going to Hong Kong for a week. My last winter holiday was two years ago and I wore wedge sneakers all the way because they were huge and trendy. But I didn't really took a good care of them and since they are suede, they look so bad right now and I can't wear them.
So I had to face the truth: I can't be in 12cm Louboutins from day to night of endless walking, and I can't wear flats. I can't wear flip flops because of course I can't. I wanted to buy a pair of boots, but then I wouldn't be able to wear it back in Indonesia or Singapore. I searched for a more wearable option, with a little extra height. I was contemplating between the Binx (US$427) and Elyse (US$1,080), because they give a little more lift compared to Chanel espadrilles. Obviously the latter is twice the price and way more daring.
However, the situation is that I'm stuck in my little hometown Surabaya where there is no On Pedder or any Stella McCartney boutique which I can visit and try them on. In the end, I decided to get the Binx because they are mm-hmm.. cheaper, and I guess, more versatile and classic for my first pair of sneakers that also happens to be platform flats or however you want to call it. I'm just so anxious right now. After all these years of loathing the 'flatforms' I had to fearlessly wear them in the next 3 weeks. What if they don't fit me at all???
And just like that, I came across these street style photos of how to wear them. I mean, look at them. These girls look absolutely chic wearing all kinds of Fall outfits with their Binx(s). I really can't wait to receive them to start planning my outfit around them. Oh god, I can't believe I'm even typing this right now.
