What is an investment?

For me, the first thing that came into my mind when I hear the world investment, is not something to deal with banking. Investment for me, is a treasure. An exquisite piece of art which combines contemporary design and something classic. Powerful pieces you would want to wear or to carry with your most boring outfit to spice it up. Something that gives this energy every time you lay your eyes on them.

Here is a list of statement making investment pieces that caught my attention when I did a little window shopping yesterday.

As much as I love this bag, I couldn't help to wonder what makes Alexander choose the material of the hardware which are so heavy. It is so heavy that I refuse to buy it. Maybe there are a lot of other people that thinks this way as well. They are as heavy as a dictionary, well imagine you're carrying a dictionary in your normal weight bags (read: Louis Vuitton monogram bags, or Gucci canvas totes). Would you still buy this bag?
