Best of London Fashion Week: September 20th

Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear Collection

While everybody else is doing a full report, I am more interested in sharing to you what I think is chic under my preference. By that, I mean what I personally dig, would die to wear, to own, to touch and feel the fabric.

David Koma

I worship him for combining the low cut front and the asymmetrical bottom. The pattern is not very organized, yet it shows how black and white can sit comfortably together so peacefully. And the white accent placed on the waist makes the dress look firm in a good way. Last but not least, he did an amazing job for perfect fitting.

Holly Fulton

I never thought a simple tube top can complement satin-silk pair of printed wide legged pants without looking like a summery, beach like outfit. Thanks to the statement necklace that lifts up the energy of the ensemble. At last, I expect the mirrored aviators to be in trend.

Mark Fast

I never get enough of body conscious dresses. Especially these see-through long sleeve. It embraces the sexiness, without showing too much skin. To me, it also contains a mysterious enigma, yet it gives an ultra feminine and powerful statement at the same time.

Paul Smith

Very masculine, the boyfriend shirt and the boyfriend trousers. I love the textile of the pants in both ensemble. This kind of reflects my ideal everyday look. Simple cut, in unusual fitting, very spacious, smart, yet not so feminine. Effortless and fervent. Looks like oversized clutch will still have its moments, as well as ladylike pointed toe pumps (recall Prada fall).

Roksanda Ilincic

Every piece in her collection is lightweight, looks like chiffon silk, with lots of draping and twists. My love goes for the cocktail dress, with the most stunning color. I want to feel the fabric that looks so supple, yet gives a gorgeous structured silhouette.

  12. Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
