La Mer: A beautiful journey

On Tuesday I attended La Mer's event at The White Rabbit, an evening of celebrating the journeys of inspirational women. La Mer has always been famous for their Crème de la Mer, one of the world's most talked about anti-ageing creams.

The story of the Miracle Broth and the legendary Crème de la Mer is one of hope and perseverance, meticulous science and the curative powers of the sea.

The event itself is more of a warm sharing session, with ladies that have gone through some extraordinary journeys and valuable insights. Yip Pin Xiu is a 19 year old National Paralympic swimmer who despite being born with muscular dystrophy, went on to win countless medals in the arena. There was also Debra Theresa De Cotta, who was once a dealt a heavy hand when the discovery and removal of a tumor left her half paralyzed. But now she is fashion lecturer at an art institute in Singapore.

On the following are some delectable cuisine from the kitchen.

Crème de la Mer is now engineered in four different textures tailored to suit an array of seasons, climates and personal skincare preferences.

The Moisturizing Gel Cream combines the emollience of the original Crème de la Mer with the unique gel structure of sea kelp, this ultralight texture deeply hydrates and conditions skin on contact. It’s the ideal choice for warm, humid climates and those who enjoy an instantly refreshed feeling.

The Moisturizing Lotion is a more fluid version of Crème de la Mer, created through unique Liposome Technology. Tailored for those who prefer lotions and an ideal warm-weather alternative to the Crème, it leaves the complexion soft, comfortable and glowing.

The Oil Absorbing Lotion is lightweight and oil-free, formulated with smart algae to help control excess oil and do away with shine. It creates a smooth and comfortable, soft matte finish and suits skin in warm, humid climates.

Thanks to the girls of Goodstuph, and here is my date of the night, Alice.
