Louis Vuitton Spring 2013: Damier Infini

Celebrating Damier 125th anniversary this year, the Maison's iconic checkered signature never ceases to offer surprises and reinvent itself. The emblematic icon sealed the house's image in 1888, with it being the last creation that history would attribute to Louis Vuitton, the founder, it is the first original pattern that was trademarked.





For this summer, 2013 see a new addition of Damier Infini in fluorescent hues supple embossed leather, Damier Ebene with a coloured interior and water-resistant nylon Damier Challenge marking the runway show, bringing a new unmistakably fashion-forward direction.







If we look back to the Spring 2013 menswear runway, it was all nautical, in a way that only Kim Jones can interpret it.



Neon brights drove home the theme, seen throughout apparels and accessories including these eye-catching neon yellow Damier Infini Keepall Bandouliere and Damier Sac Marin. I mean who doesn't wanna be seen carrying one? Or maybe both.
