Kenzo: Tiger Fever

Back at the studio with my sister for a casual shoot wearing matching Kenzo sweaters! I was so happy when I got my first (the gray sweatshirt, you can get it for £175 from Net-a-Porter) and instantly tempted to get another one in black with the paws and tail embroidered at the back which is available on ssense.com for US$695. It was actually a spontaneous shoot. We weren't prepared for this and showed up last minute during my friend's photo session! Paired the sweatshirts with some bold sunglasses from H&M and Dolce & Gabanna, bracelets from Marni at H&M, Balenciaga, Ettika and Céline.

B Brian Atwood Laplata

Here are the latest addition to my shoe closet, B Brian Atwood Laplata. I've been a huge fan of Brian Atwood shoes, I have two pairs of the iconic Maniac pumps, but these are my first pair from the second line. I would say they are equally comfortable, still loving the sexy silhouette and pleased with the excellent quality and delicate design. The shoes feature panels of laser-cut leather with double buckle and 110mm heel.

You can get them from Shopbop for US$425. For a pair of shoes that looks like they're at least US$1,000, these are clearly a smart yet timeless investment.

Skinny Love

I've received emails and comments on my blog and twitter asking me why I no longer post my outfits often. I wasn't able to do a lot of it since it's really difficult to shoot outdoors here. Thus, I managed to arrange and style an indoor photoshoot with Deasy of VDS Photography and Malva Soewarno (text +62 857-3038-7777 for bookings) for hair and makeup.

I wanted to do something different with my hair, it is usually very wavy and have volume. So I asked for a rather straight hair with extreme side parting.

I had a great time with the team and was so happy with the results! It wasn't that awkward although I find it hard to pose because I didn't had to 'really pose' for my usual outfit posts taken outdoors.

Wearing Blank Denim NYC, BB Dakota, Givenchy booties, Giuseppe Zanotti chain trim sandals from a few seasons back worn with gold anklet, Balenciaga, ASOS, Zara and H&M.

Conscious exclusive at H&M lookbook

Hollywood glamour comes to H&M this spring with Conscious Exclusive – a partywear collection made from more sustainable materials. The collection features clothing and accessories for both men and women, and is part of H&M’s Conscious work to offer more sustainable fashion. Materials used in the collection include organic cotton, recycled polyester, recycled polyamide and Tencel.

Anja Rubik in Balmain

Anja Rubik and Balmain seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly at the moment. The model/editor (she is the founder and editor of 25 Magazine) wore a pair of printed Balmain skinny jeans with a shirt also by the fashion house.

Wearing this much print is definitely a feat to pull off for anyone, but Anja wore it with such grace. Click here to buy these biker denim for US$2,275. They also have a version in a monochrome color for a much cheaper price (US$1,504) here.

Not long after, she pulled a rockstar chic look in a leather jacket with fur back, Balmain harlequin graphic skinny jeans and a fresh pop of color with mint pumps. This marks the third sighting of her in a pair by the fashion house. She switched back to her multi-printed pair. The denim top added such an effortless feel to her overall look.

Poise24 new campaign: Law of Attraction

Marc Jacobs for Coca-Cola Light

This year Marc Jacobs have been named the Creative Director of the brand, designing a collection of bottles and featuring in a playful and fashionable campaign as well as two short films that you can view here.

Marc Jacobs himself says that collaborating with such an icon as Coca-Cola light is a privilege. I think that Coca-Cola light and Marc Jacobs are a perfect match!

Blogger Susie Lau of Style Bubble is another fan, stating that "The decision to drink Coca-Cola light felt like an empowering statement on my part, attaching myself to what I perceived to be a glossy image of fashion, grown-up sophistication and glamour. From my ten-pound-a-week pocket money, buying and drinking a Coca-Cola light felt like a modest luxury, a simple pleasure that had all these aspirational connotations of being an empowered, sparkling woman who had an important part to play in the world."

All three cans from the 'Sparkling together with Marc Jacobs' collection will be available in Europe, giving collectors and other enthusiasts the opportunity to get ahold of the designer goods! The worlds best selling low calorie drink just turned into a whole lot more than a thirst quencher. I would die to collect all three.

PFW: Kenzo Fall '13

Kenzo showed a rich collection inspired by the temples of India, China, and Nepal. The stronger elements were the slim jacquard trousers and flocked lamé jackets with sleeves and shoulders rounded.  The all-seeing protective eye talisman was an important symbol for the collection.

“This season is more about the pop side of the brand,” said Humberto before the show. The magnificent duo, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon strove for maximum commercial appeal especially with the youthful demographic with a strong set of covetable pieces.

And as for those Kenzo fans that snap up everything tiger-printed, they will have plenty of eye-printed pieces to keep them happy this fall. Sweatshirts printed with one giant eye, sweatshirts with an allover eye pattern, you name it.

Head-to-toe prints, modern structural details, occasional metallic vibes, blue tones, intense red, luxurious golden tones along with the usual neutral hues in bold combos at Kenzo Fall 2013.
