Rihanna loves her Celine clutch

Rihanna has been seen out and about carrying her sizzling red hot Céline Rolled Trio Clutch from Spring 2013 (PS she’s carrying it unrolled here) and I’ve been wanting to get one for myself, don’t you all do too?



I love how she styles it casually, so effortlessly street chic, rolled and unrolled. In denim, in leather, sneakers and heels, I can't stop obsessing over the red color pop on every look she pulled together.



Here's she is photographed recently, carrying a Céline folded clutch in nude paired with a pair of J Brand Mid Rise Skinny Stretch Jeans, Prada Spring 2012 Crystal and Resin Necklace and Christian Louboutin Duvette Pumps.



Anyway, it’s widely known that a Céline clutch is always on top of every editors, fashion bloggers, and street style photographers’ favorite object of desire. I think it’s time to get one for myself, but I can’t decide which one to get though. Do you prefer the slouchy roll up clutch from Spring 2013 or the structured folded clutch from Winter 2012? I also found this holographic flat clutch with a zipper on top  that is a lot simpler yet equally minimalist-chic.

AFF: Peter Pilotto Fall 2013

Inspired by the Spanish Golden Age, for Fall 2013, Christopher De Vos and Peter Pilotto's flair for creating some of the most unique and covetable prints around is translated in the form of formfitting sheath dresses, fit-and-flare minis, tailored separates, embroidered cropped bolero jackets and puffer coats.



While Mary Katrantzou and Jonathan Saunders seem to be stepping away from the prints, Peter Pilotto is consistent in establishing fresh looks, which still sticks to his signature 'different panels of pattern' rendition.













Peter Pilotto was certainly the highlight of Audi Fashion Festival 2013 held at Tent @ Marina Promenade. The show features not only magnetic prints, but exciting modern-edgy structured silhouette, energetic vibe and exciting composition from the first look until the final looks.

Asians in Ulyana Sergeenko Couture

Both Zhang Yuqi, aka Kitty Zhang, and Fan Bing Bing are known of their ultra-luxurious, extremely elegant, red carpet style that projects every asian girls fantasy of red carpet/ball/gala dinner dressing. I absolutely adore both of these girls in Ulyana Sergeenko Couture. Absolute perfection.



The pea-green off-the-shoulder gown with a deep plunging neckline from the Spring 2013 Couture was accessorized with a fancy ruby ring and red Jimmy Choo ‘Claire’ clutch (US$2,800 from TheOutnet).



Fan Bing Bing on the other hand, wears an ice blue number from the Spring 2013 couture. As expected, she looks flawless and glowing almost like an ice princess. While the gown is not exactly the same, they are very similar, mostly focused on the bodice, with the same off-the-shoulder detail and plunging neckline.

BONIA Extends Pop-Up Store‏

BONIA Pop-Up Store will be extending their stay at Orchard Green (Next to the Singapore Visitors Centre) until 31 May 2013. The 4,305 square feet store will host exhibitions from their collaboration with Raffles Design Institute Singapore (RDI) on the first level, while the BONIA retail space takes up the second level. Expect live band performances and new dining spaces at the store while guests enjoy the exhibitions.







If you happen to be in Singapore, this is a must-visit destination as the majestic duplex showcases the exhibitions by Raffles Design Institute students. The 100 students from different disciplinary art forms, jewellery, fashion took part to collaborate with BONIA.

Wedge sneakers: Ash Italia

Yes, I finally caved in. These are not heels. I'm one of the most anti-casual/anti-sporty girl out there and I managed to pull these off for four days, last week. I can't walk in flats, be it balerina flats or oxfords. The back of my feet will hurt and I'd get blisters. But I can't wear heels all day long, I have to alternate. I used to walk in Valentino jelly thongs but I have always needed that extra height.

Then I came across these pair, called Ash Italia Bowie (USD195 from Shopbop), that are not as expensive as Isabel Marants to start with. What's even better is that they come in almond toes, I don't know the exact term for sneakers, but you know, they're less bulky, which I feel, would probably suit me more. And since Isabel Marant sneakers smallest size is 36, they will be huge on me.

So here are the different ways I wear them on the day! I would say if you are petite, don't worry about looking 'shorter' when wearing a pair of wedge sneaker. My trick is to choose a black colored pair, and wear them with black leggings to create longer legs silhouette.



Ash Bowie suede wedge sneakers are also available in nude, coral, turquoise and yellow (USD195).

Billboard Music Awards 2013 Red Carpet

Stars float down the red carpet in Las Vegas to make their way into a performance-filled awards ceremony at the Billboard Music Awards 2013. Taylor Swift was the biggest winner at the Billboard Music Awards. She won eight of 11 awards, including top artist and top Billboard 200 album for "Red."

Here she is, looking radiant in a Zuhair Murad dress, Jimmy Choo shoes and clutch, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.



Miley Cyrus in a Balmain jumpsuit is the perfect epitome of the most glam race-car-driver ever. This is clearly a genius choice and I swear it is one of her most memorable looks we've ever seen.



Selena Gomez in Atelier Versace is always sexy. I totally adore this slit-to-there white gown, ripped through with peek-a-boo illusion paneling and edged in neon piping.



Jennifer Morisson flaunted her toned body, leaving little to the imagination in a Kristian Aadnevik Fall 2013 sheer corset gown. I would say it is a rather brave choice for The ‘Once Upon a Time’ actress to opt for this lingerie-inspired design. Is it me or does everyone else think this is a little too revealing?



Emmy Rossum was totally killing it in this semi-sheer black Zuhair Murad piece. Showing just enough skin to be dangerous with its refined keyhole cutout and transparent polka-dot tulle, this dress speaks glamour and elegance at the same time.



Chloë Moretz sported a colour-block Fendi Spring 2013 frock which had been shortened from the runway version.

AFF: Carolina Hererra Fall 2013

Known for "exceptional personal style", and dressing First Ladies from Jacqueline Onassis to Michelle Obama, Carolina Hererra is such an inspiration for women of all ages. Seeing her on stage sharing about her personal life and her brand philosophy with such grace is a one of a kind experience. "I decided to make women more beautiful and men more handsome. Met Gala 2013: Most memorable red carpet looks

Where else would you see Madonna, the queen of Met Gala, in Givenchy Couture studded tartan jacket and stockings (no pants/skirt), plus a rather provocative touch: a crucifix hung below the pop star's derriere?

While keeping up with this year's theme, "PUNK: Chaos to Couture",  Anna Wintour who acknowledged the edgy theme could have thrown some people off their fashion game.

“I think [punk] is so eclectic and so original and maybe it sort of represents what’s very fearless about fashion,” she said.

Like always, there were plenty of risk-takers on the Met gala red carpet. Anne Hathaway (in Valentino), Miley Cyrus (in Marc Jacobs), Rooney Mara (in Givenchy couture) and Sienna Miller (in Burberry) were among the celebrities to embrace the punk theme.



Well, Anne Hathaway debuted her platinum blonde, hair. Her vintage Valentino from 1992 confection on top of that, was very pretty but very sheer -- with a lot of side boob. She pulled it off so well and I think she's on my top 3 best-dressed. When asked about her choice of dress for the punk-themed evening, she recounted that she had initially asked the designer: "Have you ever done punk, darling?"



Miley Cyrus encompassed the true punk spirit when she walked the red carpet. Crazy hair, don't care! Actually, I very much loved all the celebs rocking punk hair all at once.



Rooney Mara is a classic white beauty at the red carpet dressed in head to toe in Givenchy with Jennifer Meyer and Carrie Hoffman rings. Stunning.



Last but not least, Sienna Miller in a rather effortless punk look. She simply added the iconic Burberry studded biker jacket to her white maxi and just like that, she basically stole the limelight.
